Original Inside replacement lamp for the Maxell MC-CW301. A genuine original bulb fitted in a new housing, replacing Maxell part DT01511 – original brightness and lamp life for less than a full original lamp. The Maxell MC-CW301 is a short-throw classroom projector, usually mounted close to the screen or above a whiteboard, so it's worth keeping a spare lamp to avoid losing a lesson when the lamp fails. 180-day warranty and free shipping from our US warehouse.

This is an Original Inside lamp for the Maxell MC-CW301, replacing Maxell part DT01511 (also sold as DT01431, DT01433, DT01435, DT01481, DT01571, DT02051, 456-8527, 456-8928A, 456-8931WA, 456-8934). Inside is a genuine original bulb – the part that produces the light – fitted in a new, precision-made housing. You get the brightness, color and lamp life of the original lamp at a lower price, and it slides straight into the lamp bay with no rewiring.
Original Inside is the choice if you want genuine original bulb performance, and it comes with a 180-day warranty. If you'd rather spend less, our compatible lamp for the Maxell MC-CW301 uses a quality third-party bulb in a new housing, built to match the original specification, with a 120-day warranty.
Most projectors warn you when the lamp is near the end of its life: a lamp replacement message appears when you switch on, and the lamp indicator may light or flash. Before that, most people notice the picture getting dimmer or colors looking washed out. If the projector won't light at all, the lamp has usually failed.
Switch the projector off, unplug it and let it cool for at least 45 minutes. Remove the lamp cover, loosen the screws holding the old lamp and lift it out by the handle. Push the new lamp firmly into place, tighten the screws and refit the cover securely – most projectors won't power on if the lamp cover isn't closed properly. Finally, reset the lamp timer from the projector's menu so it stops showing the replacement warning (your user manual shows the exact steps for your model).
How do I know this is the right lamp? Check the model name on your projector, or the part number on the old lamp – if it shows DT01511, or any of the part numbers listed above, this lamp fits. If you're still not sure, contact our sales team and we'll confirm the right lamp for you.
Is the bulb really genuine? Yes – the bulb is a genuine original bulb. Only the housing it sits in is new and made by a third party, which is why it costs less than a full original lamp.
Can schools and colleges order on a purchase order? Yes – government and education purchase orders are welcome. Email or call us and we'll set it up.
What if there's a problem? Original Inside lamps have a 180-day no-quibble warranty: if there's a problem in that time, we'll replace it.
There are three types of replacement projector lamp, and we stock all three so you can choose the one that suits you best.
