Return and Refund Policy

Warranty periods:

All of our products on Projector Lamps USA have varying warranty periods. This is to give you the opportunity to send back an item if you are unhappy with it, or if it is faulty.

The warranty periods are as follows:

  • Original/Genuine lamps: 90-days
  • VIVID/Original Inside lamps: 180-days
  • Compatible lamps: 120-days
  • Remotes and Filters: 30-days

If you are unsure about what warranty period your lamp falls under, please visit our 'About our lamps’ page to determine what type of projector lamp you have. Alternatively, your order history should tell you what type your lamp is or call us to check.

As you can see, all of our lamps are covered by a generous no-quibble returns policy. This means you have some leeway if you wish to return your lamp.

 

Returns and refunds:

If you wish to return an item, please pay close attention to these details. All returns require an RMA number. Please contact us directly quoting your order number and the reason regarding your return. We accept refunds up to 30 days from date of delivery.

Faulty item- if your item is faulty, please contact us to discuss and arrange a replacement or return.

Not wanted/expected- If the item you ordered isn’t what you expected/ you don’t need it anymore, you can return the item. However, the item has to be in its original, un-marked packaging (no writing, no drawing, no damage)- if it returns back to us and we find that it is marked with writing, you will unfortunately be charged a re-stocking free.

We aim to process your refunds on our system within 1 working day, so please give us some time to do so.

 

How to ship your return back to us:

Once you have determined you want to return your purchase and have received your return reference number, please continue to pack up your return, taking care to ensure the following is completed.

  1. If your purchase is not faulty, you need to return it to us in the same condition you received it in. This means the same packaging and with supplied accessories. Any damage to the product or its packaging may result in a rejected return, or a restocking fee.
  2. Faulty purchases should be returned in as much of the original packaging as is still available. If the original packaging is no longer available, please use suitable packaging to ensure safe transit back to us to ensure no further damage.
  3. Please do not write on or stick any labels to the product or its original packaging. This will be deemed as damage if the marking cannot be removed.
  4. Once your purchase is repackaged, please pack into an additional shipping box to preserve the original packaging.
  5. When creating you own shipping label, please include the unique returns number we've supplies is present in the return address area. This can be added within the address as you type it (address line 2 or within one of the name fields. As long as it's visible once printed). Or you can write the returns number somewhere on the label, taking care not to obscure the returns address or mark the original box.

 

We take lamp faults very seriously and investigate the projector lamp closely when it is returned to us. In the unlikely event that your projector lamp may fail, please send it back to us so we can take necessary action to resolve the situation for you.

The fault may lie within your projector and not your lamp! This is sometimes the case, and many people don’t understand the tell-tale signs of projector failure.

When can you expect your refund?

We endevour to process all refunds within 1 working day from arriving back with us. This may vary during weekends and public holidays.

Once your refund had been processed there may be a delay with your own bank or card issuer to deposit the funds into your account.
